Marty Butler, is a seasoned healthcare executive with experience leading strategy, operations, sales & account management, finance, M&A and post-merger integrations. As President & CFO for ExactCare, Marty leads the organization’s overall vision and strategy for success, in addition to providing executive oversight and leadership for ExactCare’s financial activities.
Prior to his current role, Marty was CFO of ExactCare for over a decade, joining the company soon after the organization was established. During Marty’s tenure ExactCare has experienced notable growth—expanding rapidly from a regional pharmacy care provider to a national healthcare company serving tens of thousands of patients every year. Throughout his time with ExactCare, Marty has led various functions including finance, accounting, marketing & account management, IT and analytics.
Before ExactCare Marty was the CEO of a Cleveland Clinic start-up health coaching venture; VP roles in Operations, Integration and Analytics functions for a worksite health business purchased by Walgreens in 2008; a Manager in Corporate Development & Strategy for Eaton Corporation and roles at both Deloitte & PWC. Marty earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from John Carroll University. Marty is a past President and Board Chair of each of the following organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland, Town Hall of Cleveland and the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Northeastern Ohio. He has been honored by Crain’s Cleveland Business as a finalist in 2015 and winner in 2017 of CFO of the Year for Northeastern Ohio.
