CarepathRx Senior Vice President and General Manager Fernando Torres oversees operations and services for the CarepathRx Specialty Pharmacy & Infusion Solutions Orlando branch, working closely with the partner relationship team to support and grow partners and executing strategy for the overall home infusion business.

Mr. Torres began his career working on improving the customer service processes at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, helping hotels all around the world implement a one-call resolution process. Since then, he has instilled a customer-service orientation to healthcare.

While Mr. Torres has worked in various aspects of the healthcare continuum, he has spent the majority of his career developing new growth opportunities for health systems in roles of escalating responsibility and leadership. His exceptional experience portfolio includes:

• Developing the growth plan for a health-system owned home infusion/specialty pharmacy business.
• Designing and launching a revenue cycle solution to reduce health plan denials for health systems.
• Launching health plan products that enabled health systems to become preferred network pharmacies.

He has held multiple leadership positions at firms ranging from McKinsey & Associates to McKesson and Evolent Health.

Mr. Torres holds an MBA with a major in Health Care Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Cornell University. He serves on the board for the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children, which is dedicated to providing healthcare access to children in the some of the world’s most needy communities.
